Romanticizing your life makes a difference. One time, I got up super early and made a coffee with creamer and sat down outside on our steps. It smelled like fresh, wet grass and flowers and there was a breeze and it was slightly cold, so my coffee was super comforting. I sat there and watched the sun come up and thought: “This is the best moment ever. I feel so calm and at peace. My coffee is the best it ever tasted. It smells incredible out here”. I saw a deer in the trees in the distance and felt like I was in a ghibli movie. It was a perfect moment. And you can have that too.
